About Night Reflection 10.10
(Eric) January 20th, 2023, Friday night. We drove over an hour to reach my parents home where I had some duties (snow shoveling! 😉). We knew we had a good chance of making our first successful winter session of the year (on our second attempt). The conditions were right, and we’ve been able to shoot in the snow for a whole 90 minutes! 🥶🥶

(Kim) Standing at the edge of the winter forest. After the storm, what’s left is the thick white blanket underneath our feet and the heavy arching branches surrounding us. Everything is quiet. The forest is in a peaceful slumber. The crisp & cold air reminds us of the fleeting nature of this moment, and the need to make the most of it before our bodies get too cold. And yet, we’re calm, feeling lucky to witness this serene scene and knowing we’re more resilient than before in the face of nature’s power.
