Visiting Norcal Guy in Norcal Ville

What were the odds that Norcal Guy would be on our itinerary for a 10000+ miles road trip? Well, it happened, and we played rock-paper-scissor!

Norcal Guy is a dad / wonderful human being but also one of our main NFT collectors. He currently owns 3 of our Night Reflection pieces and 3 other pieces on Foundation

So what was the plan?

1- Podcast recording!

We talked a bunch. This is episode 59 of the Norcal and Chill podcast

2- We went on the field to make light-painting

What was supposed to be a demo turned into something quite cool. We switched roles. Norcal Guy did the light-painting, I modeled, and Kim triggered the camera. Here’s the final image

Above: Light-painting photography, lit by hand by Norcal Guy with me as a model (yes, I have only one pose!)

Below: Pictures taken by Norcal Guy during our light-painting session in Norcal Ville

Our two favorite questions from Norcal Guy which which we’re elaborating a bit more for you here ;)

6- Favorite food?

So many, but the most important thing is the experience itself. The experience of eating. We currently eat once a day, so we fast & feast. When we eat, we treat this moment like a celebration and take our time. A break during the day, sort of a reset. It usually can take up to 2 hours. We could name specific things we like to eat, but it can be soooo many things. Things that take a lot of time to cook & eat are amazing, like raclette or hot pot for instance.

9- If you could live or move anywhere, where would you live & why?

Somebody asked Eric if he missed home when we were away traveling, and his spontaneous answer was: Kim is my home. I don’t miss a specific house or area. We feel at home in so many locations. But we love Montreal. Not only is it a very good place to live but also a good base from which to go where we want to create. We like to leave as much as we like to come back. If we could not travel, we would probably like to live somewhere in the South West of the USA, near some deserts, that’s for sure.
